Charleroi-Freshmen CODY Wierchok-BAD to the Bone
ReplyDeleteDont know how you could forget Ray Campbell from Charleroi he was ranked no. 3 in wpial last year till he got hurt
ReplyDeleteI think mckillop placed 5th at states. Also Dakota Desluriers is a hammer ( freshman ), Does anyone know if he is related to Joel who graduated in 1997. 2x 3rd placer at states and a state champ his sr year?
ReplyDeleteYou are right. McKillop was fifth. I looked at Makara's placement by mistake. It's been changed.
ReplyDeleteAs for the incoming freshmen, I tend to not list them as key returnees until they actually compete in a varsity match. They have enough pressure on them from the fans.
Anonymous, watched the freshman from Charleroi the last 2 days at Chartiers. You described him perfectly. Bad to the bone. No points against, 2 cutm loose, takem down.
ReplyDeletehow would wierchok do in AAA? any comments. could he beat the altons and peppelmans and courts from central dauphin?
ReplyDeletenot right now, he's only a freshman. the men you listed are the top juniors/ seniors in the country. he still would be a stud in AAA for the guys that are around his age. remember PJW states are not divided, there is only one division. If you win PJW states you are a true state champ. So i would say that he is the best 152 pound freshman in the state, AA or AAA.
ReplyDeleteI agree. best freshman in state. thank you for insight.
ReplyDeleteNo respect in rankings can lead a wrestler to non stop domination. May work to there development.
