Jimmy Gulibon, the three-time PIAA champion from Derry and a four-time winner at Powerade, will miss the next two weeks of the season with a tear of his meniscus. Gulibon injured the left knee during the 126-pound finals against Mawell Hvolbek of Blair Academy. The tear of the meniscus is considered the easiest of the other possible knee injuries to rehab from.

ReplyDeleteGulibon is one of the best high school wrestlers I have ever seen. I hope he heals in time to win a 4th PIAA championship! And then I cannot wait to watch him continue his career at PSU.
ReplyDeleteGulibon is clearly one of the best wrestlers in the state hands down hope to see him win his 4th title this year it would be a shame if injury keeps him off mat but just remember this is high school, college is waiting for you then the olympics will be your next step GO GET EM KID
