Albert Gallatin's wrestling team captured the Chartiers-Houston Wrestling Tournament Saturday with four first-place finishes and one second. Jeff-Morgan's team, which was on life support for much of last season, had a champion in Ty Basinger at the C-H tournament and the Rockets' 14th-place finish wasn't so bad, considering their low numbers. ... Trinity's Nate Murin has been extremely impressive in the early going, winning the 171-pound title in the Midwest Classic in Gateway. ... If the name of Trinity's new 140-pounder sounds familiar, it should because Todd Martinek wrestled for Fort Cherry last year.
