Wash High's lament
It's been a tough season for Washington High School's wrestling team. Numbers are down and forfeits are up. Still, the Prexies could do well in the individual postseason. Alex Evans is a returning state qualifier and heavyweight Sam Miller has potential. The Prexies might have Patrick Gouin back in the lineup soon. Gouin, a state qualifier two years ago, suffered a broken leg during soccer season and is just now getting into wrestling shape.

Yes it is a shame there is plenty of talent sitting in the halls. Wrestling takes a lot of discipline and many children today can't deal with it...
You're right. Talent in the halls is useless unless it WANTS to be in the wrestling room. Otherwise, you might just as well forfeit the weight.
