Is this the same kid who beat jared magon 5-1, at the chartiers tournament?

Yes he beat magon 5-1 at CHC, with 5 HS matches under his belt and then 9-1 at sections had him stuck ref way out of position.

Please stop with the Kolat references. Four years, ZERO losses. End of story. Compare him to someone else, you are just showing you ignorance.

Joe, I am hoping you can answer a question for me. The 215# bout between Kumer & Meier. Did your guys see unsportsman-like behavior or a flagrant misconduct? It was a heat-of-the-moment reaction to a cheap shot that had Kumer unneccessarily shoving Meier away in the final seconds of the match. We completely agree that it was unsportsman-like, but haven't found anyone who saw a punch being thrown. The Ref has filed the papers stating that Kumer threw a punch & is going to be penalized at his next WPIAL event, etc. Did anyone out there see something that we didn't? If he did it then we agree he should absolutely be penalized. If he didn't throw a punch, then isn't the punishment alittle severe?

I am sorry. You and your Magic City girlfriends are right. Wiercoch is the best ever. He will be a 4 time state champ, 4 time NCAA division I all-american, 2 time NCAA division I champion, WORLD silver medalist, PAn American Games Champion, make the USA team 5 consecutive years by winning the US OPen and achieve countless other WORLD accolades. What was I thinking saying a freshman from the magic city was not in the same category? I am an arse.

It me the arse again. I forgot to mention that only 10 of CW matches in high school will go the entire 3 periods and he will win the OW at states 4 times. Again, I apologize for getting upset with the Kolat references since, clearly only an arse would think Kolat's minimal accomplishments will never be duplicated

I never saw the punch Kumer was said to have thrown, though the writer sitting next to me did. It was his opinion that it was mild and didn't deserve a DQ.

In 5 short years would never believe are son would take us through such nervous excitment as he has... It is to much to bare at times. I would also appreciate the Kolat reference to stop. Two different wrestlers in two very different times. Heart is what they both have. There, it stops... Now, I will thank from the bottom of are heart, all of Codys supporters because you make this fun for us.. Are Maroon and gold friends well, words can't express.. I would throw all of you a party of a magnatude that we would not be able to recover from for some time. I do not want to address the negative posts because the positive out weighs the negative. Joe Tuscano, I personally never talked to you but I thank you for all the kind words. Once again, thank you, all that support Cody.

Actually, Cody enjoys the efforts of Polands, Marius Puginowski. I know I butcherd this mans name. He is a strong man competitor. For some time Cody pushed us to change his name to Makarov. It took some time before he let up..funny. Very true thou.

Ed.

supege,

you said world silver medalist. are you sure you didn't mean gold? As for Mr. Ed no more Kolat references will be made out of respect. Sorry Big W but we CW fans do get carried away sometime. See you at Hershey!

Kudos to Cody, Sam, and Jeff for wrestling their Wiercioch's and Tarley's off and for also eating their Guidi's. Good luck at states!

It seems as if I wasn't the only one who thought Guidi was content with the 1-0 ride outs and boring victories. His coach made some interesting statements about Sambien. Could he be Sammy the Bull again by the end of this week?

Guess we can officially drop the comparison to Kolat's 137-0, references to 4-time state champ and 4-time OW. I guess the the other predictions to achieve countless other WORLD accolades are still yet to be seen.
