Trinity's overall record last season was 10-5. 3-3 was their section record only.
Coach Marino is a great man. He is an outstanding coach, and even a better mentor. Their are not to many individuals with the qualities that Coach Marino has. Trinity's program will miss him.
Trinitys wrestling program has been down for several years. Coach Marino had his work cut out for him. He has done an outstanding job rebuilding the program. the numbers in the youth program are back up, and the junior high had a very respectable last year. He sure will be missed. Lets hope the wonderful school board will take careful thought on who they hire as the successor to a program going in the right direction.
Joe,
Have you noticed that Trinity still does not have a wrestling coach? Summer clinics should be going on and the board/athletic director have still not acted.
I understand the next school board meeting is in August. But I think the board can meet if they want to hire someone.
