Scott headed to Olympics

Coleman Scott has clinched a spot on U.S. Olympic men’s freestyle wrestling team.
The 26-year-old Oklahoma State alum and graduate of Waynesburg High School had to win twice Thursday in a wrestle-off at 132 pounds during an event in Times Square. Scott beat Reece Humphrey, then defeated Shawn Bunch in a best-of-three championship series.
Bunch advanced automatically to the final because he qualified the United States for the London Games in the weight class by placing third in the World Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in China on April 27.
Scott secured the victory over Bunch with a five-point throw in the second period of the third match.
