Vulcano's stay as AD ending at CV
Frank Vulcano's tenure as athletic director at Chartiers Valley is coming to an end June 30 and he is not pleased. Vulcano released this statement Tuesday.
"at no time during the past 1 1/2 years when I asked, did anybody tell me what "they" wanted to see changed in my leadership".
"When you have to make decisions that are in the best interest of the students and their program and the leaders of the district are not in agreement, then I guess "they" want a change".
"I believe that what I have done over the past 8 years at Char Valley should speak for itself".

As
of June 30, 2014, my contract as Athletic Director for the Chartiers Valley
School District will be terminated. Although I was forced to submit a
letter of retirement, "I have no plans on retiring".
In order for me to receive compensation for my sick days that I had
accumulated, I had to submit the letter.
It
all started about a 1 1/2 years ago when I was told that "they"
wanted new "leadership" and that I should start looking for another
job. In June, 2013 I was given a 1 year contract that stated that my
employment with the district would be terminated on June 30, 2014."at no time during the past 1 1/2 years when I asked, did anybody tell me what "they" wanted to see changed in my leadership".
"When you have to make decisions that are in the best interest of the students and their program and the leaders of the district are not in agreement, then I guess "they" want a change".

So he's staying as AD but leaving CV? That doesn't make any sense.
No. He's losing his job as AD.
This is getting ridiculous. When will ANYONE in this district realize that Superintendent Brian White is treating CV as a place to stick all of his Beaver cronies? He is running the district into the ground, but that's okay because none of his hires actually live in district.
Ad of the year and he's not doing his job? Give me a break. Its no wonder why CV is a joke!
