Super (32) Tournament
A large group of Pennsylvania wrestlers will compete in the Super 32 Challenge in Greensboro, N.C. over the Halloween weekend. The tournament began in the mid-1990s and has grown to one of the largest out-of-season events in the country. More than 1,000 wrestlers are expected to compete this year.
Among the local wrestlers scheduled to compete is Charleroi's Cody Wiercioch.

I have a young wrestler who looks up to Wiercioch, Cody made the time to talk with him between his matches. He was impressive to watch. I think he wrestled 171 and won.
Wiercioch wins Super 32, beating No. 1 ranked in the nation Tyler Massa 160# of Michigan in the semi's. Wiercioch being the first to win a Super 32 belt in the WPIAL history.
