Where is Trinity? No show?
Joe what is going on at Trinity! Snoke the principal tried to cancel the Waynesburg match and now he let them pull out of Powerade! Why is he handling sports? Something is wrong up there, the entire place is screwed up. I feel bad for the wrestlers. Please try to get us some answers, don't you have to pay to go to Powerade?
From what I heard, some members of the team came down with a case of mat herpes, so they decided to pull the varsity and jv teams out of powerade.
Mat herpes didn't that go out in the 60's, do they clean the mats and wrestling room. When I wrestled at Trinity they even did our laundry do they still?
It's my understandings that this skin problem did not develop at Trinity's facilities but at one of the early season tournaments. It's difficult to know exactly, like trying to figure out where you got the germs that gave you the flu.
The school asked that the Waynesburg match be rescheduled, not cancelled, because of those concerns. It was Waynesburg's decision.
It's not unusual for administration to step into this situation. It's a safety issue, not an athletics issue, and they are responsible for the students in the school.
Pulling out of the Powerade tournament was a no-brainer. Hopefully, they will be back next week.
