I notice several CM wrestlers that were listed on the original bracket did not compete(160/171/189)? Renzelli? Binotto? Did anything happen? Some of these weights didn't even have a Canon McMillan representative.
Actually 5 starters in all we`re out140 Pihiou,152 Dami,160 Renzelli, 171Thomas,and 189Binotto some injured, some had other health issues. Shame there season`s had to end now. Also I want to give credit to Alex Campbell for wrestling despite being sick all week and not being able to get much work done in the practice room. This sport is a grind as it is. GREAT JOB to all the Big mac wrestlers who advanced and good luck at WPIAL`S This week.
Congratulations to all the wrestlers who have advanced to AAA WPIAL tournament. Know that this is no small accomplishment to be known as one of the best wrestlers in our tradition laden region and you guys are that and more...
Some things that stood out:great finals match at 103 where Colton Shorts was able to battle back after giving up early takedown to talented Tyler Buckiso. Derrick Nelson, Nick Catalano (in very awesome fashion), Aaron McKinney and Kyle McWreath winning 4th section titles. Also, very impressive win from "Double ii, Intense Italian Nick Bonnocorsi at 171. We learned that Freshmen Solomon Chishko is very hard to score on and will only get better in my opinion. Cody Klempay remains undefeated at heavyweight!
See everyone next weekend at Canon McMIllan!
By the way theirs no conspiracy to their injurys or health issues.Just sayin for all you C.S.I WPIAL CONSPIRACY THEORIST who make your foolish comments at the Anonymous level. Enjoy the last 2 weeks of a great season For the KIDS not your theorys boys
