Now that you mentioned him . . .

Albert Miles, the former Canon-McMillan wrestler who won an NCAA title at Pitt-Johnstown, will be competting in a Mixed Martial Arts event Saturday at the James E. Carnes Convention Center in St. Clairsville, Ohio. The event, dubbed the Cage of Chaos, begins at 7:30 p.m. Miles is scheduled to fight Dave Gabig.

The rumor is back on. Word in the mat room is that a 160 lbs local wrestler might be coming to CM after all.

CM has got to keep up with Abe's Central Catholic ability to recruit nation wide. He gets to look at all sorts of talent with his wrestling school and being a clinician all over the country. Then he pulls kids into his Central Catholic program like Luster.

It is going to be hard to compete with this private school team in wrestling. It will be just like football.

"just like football"?
Since 1979, Central Catholic has won 3 WPIAL Football titles. in the same time:
Mt. Lebanon has 5
Woodland Hills has 5
Upper St. Clair has 5
North Hills has 4
Gateway has 2
North Allegheny has 2
McKeesport has 2
Connellsville, Penn Hills, New Castle and Bethel Park have the other 4.

So, Central Catholic wrestling, with ZERO WPIAL titles, compares to the Canon-McMillans, Waynesburg's, Connellsvilles, Kiski Area's, etc. JUST LIKE FOOTBALL---trailing a number of teams by a number of WPIAL titles.

You're clueless.

Thats the trouble with people like you. Always thinking in the past and never now or the future.

Open your eyes and see what Abe has done in such a sort amount of time. Just built a state competetive team in about two years. Hire him and they will come. He also has an avenue to PSU (best in country). CM's backyard dojo is WVU (52nd out of 52nd) or dead last. Good luck living in the past clueless. Where are the school names for Washington County Football? Oh, they never won a championship. I am sure somebody will let me know some school won it in 1955 like W&J did with the Rose Bowl in 1922. Wow thats great.

PCC would have one the state individual points race if Zymroz would have wrestled this year. He was top 5 in the state at 135. Which means Dobbin would not have made the trip.

Washington 1993, 2001
McGuffey 1994

since you asked. And you're rambling shows your cluelessness continues.

Just a little tidbit of info for you all. I was browsing through the US Open freestyle brackets to see where Drew Headlee and Coleman Scott were seeded and I happened upon something interesting at 66kg. An unseeded wrestler out of North Carolina OTC by the name of Cary Kolat. I guess he is trying a Melvin Douglass type comeback. I know I will be pulling for him. Go Kolat!

There was talk of Charleroi and BV...co-oping. Charleroi shot it down IDIOTS.

Now there will be no wrestling there. Pathetic head coach, a wanna be ass..t coach and a school that will drop the program.
Sighn of the times. I heard its Luster. Ha,HA,HA. To the Macs.

Notice the two guys that always get on us for being Anons are not commenting on this. I bet because this is a big catch and there is truth to it. Come on Coach Slack and Demi the CM Fan - please comment: Who is it? Let us know who it is and if it is true - you two name signing blogs you.

You two are bigger men than us ... put your names to it. Please confirm the rumor. We are dying to know if it is true.

I`m sorry to say this but wrestling season is over fellas. I kinda have a life and family to tend to. As to your question about that rumor? I gotta see if i can get a hold of The C.S.I. WPIAL team and get you your conformation. I believe the topic of this comment forum is about Albert Miles competing in MMA Cage fighting. Good luck Albert. And for Godsake`s guys take a vacation or get a hobby

Actually, I think Ray Brinzer is going to time warp from 1990 and be our 160 pounder next year. So Jase better call x-files instead. Keep giving me hints anon... keep giving me hints...soon enough my confirmation will be made on just who you really are behind that mask.

I think the young man is no longer 160, more like 178 and vertically enhanced.
