Just my opinion. Guidi beat Gibbons this year at the Bedford tournament and beat Gallaher last year at states. Guidi will finish in the top 4 guaranteed......i think. Mizia and Deslauries can both beat Gibbons as well. Don't be surprised if the wpial takes top 3 spots at 171

FYI, Gibbons did beat Dakota at team states. Conti also beat Guidi 3 weeks ago and Magon might take 5th. 171 is tough.

Dakota was very sick that week. Guidi was also sick and he beat Conti twice last weekend. Magon has no shot.

Now that they are all healthy, lets see how it plays out.

I am so interested in the heavyweight bout! Last year Rizzo beat Tarley then Tarley beats Rizzo @ Bedford last year, States was a coin flip that took Tarley to 3rd. this year, Garry beats Tarley @ duals but Tarley is sick. WPIAL's Tarley healthy beats Garry. Hixton gave Rizzo a run @ duals... Tarley, sick, did not get to match up. Can't wait for Regionals!

Heavyweights will be very interesting. Rizzo, defending state champ has a tough match at Bedford with Hixson then beats Garry in finals. Garry beat Tarley in the same tournament semis 8-2 then loses in finals at WPIALs. Four very talented Hvy's that really can beat each other on any given day. Not sure about the Rizzo, Hixson rivalry but Garry and Tarley have been wrestling each other since they were 10. Always goes to OT or rideout. Good Stuff

Just got word from Johnstown that Burrell's 189 lb wrestler is out because of MERSA, lets see if they check all of the Burrell wrestlers to see if they have this also and not just overlook this!

intersting post wasko, however some things have a way of becoming very obvious and showing the truth in the end. Wasko admittedly faked an injury to advance; wasko told his Mom 10 minutes after the match, "I'm fine,I knew I would get the win if I stayed down. Kwasny and Wasko both advanced to SW Regional. Wasco in much easier match-ups was pinned twice at SW Regional while Kwasny 4-1, no penalty points and actually beating opponents that pinned Wasco. Kwasny advanced to PIAA AA States tournamnet. Kwasny had strong showing at PIAA State Tourney; 1-2 losing to State champion Racciotto and Ronnie Garbinsky. Nice job Kwasny. Good luck.
