Class AAA quarters

Canon-McMillan took over first place in the team standings by going 5-0 in the quarterfinals and consolations. The Big Macs have 40 points and hold a four-point lead over Central Dauphin and 6.5 point lead over Franklin Regional.
Dalton Macri (120), Connor Schram (126), Solomon Chishko (145) and Cody Wiercioch (170) each kept their hopes alive for a gold medal. Alex Campbell is competing in the 220 consolation round and can finish no worse than eighth.
Waynesburg's A.C. Headlee is also in the winners bracket at 113 pounds.

Wiercioch (43-0) will wrestle Colton Peppelman of Central Dauphin in the semifinals. Peppelman lost to Joey Krulock of Mechanicsburg in the Southcentral Region finals, but Krulock had to default out of the tournament after injuring a knee in Thursday’s first round.
Schram (42-3) was just as dominating as Wiercioch, chalking up a 20-5 technical fall win over Chase Zemenak of Nazareth. Kyle Krasavage (40-0) of Wyoming Valley West is the semifinal opponent.
Chishko was not in any trouble despite a close a 3-1 win over Mason Bentzel of Spring Grove. The C-M junior takes on Nolan Barger (NW-1, 37-1) in the semifinals.
Macri (35-2) took an 18-5 win from Zack Clingan of Spring Grove in the quarters and draws Vincenzo Joseph (24-8) of Central Catholic in a rematch of last week’s district semifinals that Joseph won.
Headlee (41-3) hit a double-leg takedown midway through the third period to produce a 3-1 decision over Derek Gulotta of Owen J. Roberts. Zack Fuentes (SE-1, 45-4) of Norristown is his semifinals opponent.

Hey Joe, can you calculate what where cm would stand in the team race if they didn't have the 3 transfers? Would be interesting to see. Also would be interesting to see how many state team titles they would've won without those 3. I think a lot of your followers would be interested to see how these transfers affected the outcome of the past 3 state tournament and team championships... Maybe they wouldn't be considered a dynasty without these 3 studs?

I guess I could do that, but then I would have to calculate the dozens of other transfers from the other schools participating. I just don't have the time. Nice try.
