Two wrestlers Spencer Lee of Franklin Regional (113) and Luke Pletcher of Latrobe (120) - are top ranked n the country. Four others - Gage Curry of North Hills (106), Tyler Smith of Franklin Regional (132), Michael Kemerer of Franklin Regional (138), and Jason Nolf of Kittanning (145) - are ranked second in the country.
Others include Devin Brown of Saegertown, 3rd at 106; Sam Krivus of Hempfield, 3rd at 132; Solomon Chishko of Canon-McMillan, 3rd at 145; Zach Zavatsky of Latrobe, 4th at 182; Vincenzo Joseph of Central Catholic, 5th at 138; Dalton Macri of Canon-McMillan, 6th at 126; Dom Forys of North Allegheny, 7th at 126; and George Phillippi of Derry, 8th at 120.

Good post, Joe. But I think you limited your observations to how dominant Western Pa is. ALl the individuals you mentioned are from the WPIAL. There are other dominant wretlers in other parts of the state, for example, Chnace Marstellar, who is not only top ranked, but arguably one of the greatest since Kolat.
Also, Brown now wrestles fro Franklin Regional, not Segertwon.

This is Western PA. so.... No One really cares about the rest of the state. Kolat did not run from people like CM. Had the opportunity to wrestle BO Jordon but all ways seem to be MIA. FACT
