Lee could miss regular season
Franklin Regional wrestler Spencer Lee, a two-time undefeated PIAA and WPIAL wrestling champion with a 97-0 record, could miss the regular season after undergoing an operation for a shoulder injury. Lee felt discomfort while preparing for the World Junior Championships. After winning the title, Lee was diagnosed with a torn labrum in his right shoulder and was operated on.
Lee is not expected to compete in the Ironman or Powerade wrestling tournaments and the Westmoreland County Tournament. Lee would have to ready to wrestle by mid-February.
