Garrett Vulcano ranked?
Who did he ever beat?
Where are his Olympic medals?
Vulcano looks good. This list is pretty solid, 171 AAA I can't accept Baxter unranked, 215 is kind of a hedge, but you can't say it isn't accurate. 103 AA needs a second look. But all around well done.
I admit I gave Vulcano the benefit of the doubt at 145 because of his strong run in the C-H tournament (third) and a respectable showing at Powerade. Those two tournaments are good measuring sticks for talent and he is obviously talented.
It was either Baxter or Reaghard for third at 171 and Reaghard took seventh at Powerade. That gave him the nod. 103 is always tough early because of the unknown of freshmen. We'll see.
Joe,
Please quit the BS. You gave Vulcano the benefit of the doubt because his dad runs the powerade tournament and is very big in Washington County and wrestling in general. It's OK you are doing a little brown nosing but in fairness Vulcano does deserve a 3rd ranking. He's tough and he's good. A good choice on your part.
If I were brown-nosing, I would have ranked him as an eighth-grader.
He will lose against the 45lb'er from Burgettstown.
At what weight is Gussy Mizia this year?
Joe,
No love for Vince Vahaley from Bentworth at 112. Why? He lost 2-1 in the finals to the kid from Burgettstown at Southmoreland. I'm not even reading anything about this kid from CH. Are you smooching the Volcano booty again?
