Where is Waynesburg at? They are at least worthy of a top ten ranking.

It should be interesting between Canon Mac and Central Catholic if those two make it to the finals. Central is strong where Canon Mac is not (152-160)but not nearly as solid as the Big Macs from top to bottom. Also that Zymorz kid from Central was already beaten this summer by CM's freshman Chisko.

Waynesburg beat North Allegheny, huh?

Well, why did they keep it a secret? No one called the results in to our newspaper. The Post-Gazette and Trib did not have the results in their online editions and I could not find the scores on any internet site, including wpialwrestling.net, which is a great source of information.

So as far as I'm concerned, if no one made an effort to get the results to me, then for this week's rankings, that match didn't exist.

first off, thanks for helping to make it a little more interesting, I'm always on here checking for updates.

Waynesburg not only beat NA, they made Burrell sweat. This was at the Franklin Regional Duals-no results for JM vs. KO, which is an important one, but Franklin Regional beat WBG, and also dropped a close one to Burrell. All 3 of those teams looked solid, the rest of the field, including NA, not quite on the same level. Burgettstown & NA looked decent too, NA beat them head to head, maybe 10 pts. Jeannette upset KO.

Kiski and Penn Trafford will not be ranked that high at the end of the year, Both teams lost many senoirs from last year. Kiski had around 7 and Penn Trafford 8.

Lowther's name is still listed on W&J's roster on its website but Colborn's is not listed on Beth-Center's roster. I will look into it.

Is Charlie Colborn still coaching or did he go south too?

I meant to ask Dave Nelson about that at the Chartiers-Houston Tournament but forgot. I knew Chuck was looking for a position but had not heard whether he found one in the area. Coaching was just a part-time job for him. I knew he had resumes in at some schools. It appears he found the job in N.C.

This is for the guy who put the genius comment about central catholic being stronger at 2 whole weight classes than Canon-mac. How does that make them a worthy opponent. Here we go again another bleacher genius. Probrably didn`t wrestle much i bet huh?

Coach Colborn bad? Coach Nelson worse? Someone hasn't spent to much time around the sport of wrestling or its just the trouble makers thats ruining the Beth-Center wrestling program trying to make Coach Nelson look bad once again.
