Bucs flex muscles
Chartiers-Houston did nothing to diminish its No. 2 ranking in Class AA, rolling to two easy victories and capturing the Section 1-AA Team Title Wednesday. The Bucs won 11 of 14 bouts in a 60-18 rout of Burgettstown in the finals. The Bucs were fortunate to get the doubleheader in. Four other sites, including Canon-McMillan and Bentworth, were forced to postpone until Thursday because of the snow storm.
The Bucs did have some bad news this week as three starters - Pete Provenzano at 112, Ryan Dodd at 119 and Tony Luciola at 171 - are injured and possibly out for the season. But they got good efforts from freshman Jake Jones at 112 and Jevone Harrison at 160 - each had a pin - to ease the sting of their losses.

Three starters out in one week? freak accidents in the wrestling room or something else?
No, Provenzano's was this week. Dodd and Luciola were diagnosed this week but had been a lingering problem.
