No love for Beth Center's Anthony Welsh? I think his record is 20-1 for the season. Lost a tough match to Bowlen at the Tri-Cada then comes back strong to win at Burgettstown. McDermitt's win in the same tournament came in the weakest weight class of the tournament. Have you decided that Burgettstown wrestling is now your South Fayette in football Joe?
Not sure what you mean by comparing McDermitt and Welsh. 170 is a good weight class, unlike some others.
There are some very weak weight classes in double a this year, but 170 is very strong,Walker lost to 2 of the best kids in the country in Bulsak and Campbell,I wouldn't say his stock is down, you have to look at the stregnth of schedule, not these cupcake tournaments.
In AA, I agree, 170 is a good class, even in AAA we're seeing some weights that are basically one stud deep. Look at the rankings, number one is good in every class, you get to numbre two and i'm not so sure.
Anonymous 9:37 Competition was good, but when you are a state runner-up, two losses in a week is a stock down.
There is never any love for Beth Center or Bentworth.I guess you have to go to Canon Mac,South Fayette,Jeff Morgan to get noticed.Bentworth is struggling with numbers but their are a few good weight classes that are doing exceptionally well 106,126,138 .Keep up the good work Tony Welch

Bentworth and Beth-Center have been in our paper's coverage this season. And it's Tony Welsh.
