No Hull for C-M
Michael Hull, a state qualifier from Canon-McMillan last season, will not wrestle for the Big Macs this season. Hull suffered back problems, limiting him throughout the football season. Head coach Chris Mary held out some hope Hull could return near the end of the season but those plans were scrapped because Hull's back has not improved as much as hoped. Hull accepted a full scholarship to play football at Penn State University.

Wow I would have bet that he would wrestle in the post season. I would have lost the house on that one, 90% sure he would have won a state title. With Dobbin,Brownlee, Catalano and Hull thats alot of team points at the state tournament. Hopefully he can win one next year.
Yes with that 6th at states last season and not wrestling all this season would have made him a shoe-in.
yea but after speaking with mike he understands that it is a much wiser decision to forgo wrestling any more in pursuit of his football career at penn state. Almost all of the injuries he has suffered in his life have been from wrestling and he cannot risk a full scholarship to linebacker U. He is an exceptional athlete and watching him the past 8 years or so has been a great pleasure. we all wish him luck in the future and dont expect to see him next year either.
He will regret this in 10 years for sure. I promise that for sure. You need to soak as much up as possible. worring about possible injury is no way to go about life. You might as well have a predestined injury lined up. You can't limit what you do because you might get injured. He might fall out of his bunk bed and break his arm tonight.
He hurt his ankle in the sems last year and defaulted to 6th but I'm sure you knew that. The score was 3-1 with Enk with 30 seconds left when the injury happend, Enk won in the title over Uchel.
Does anyone remember Scott Mikillop almost winning a state title his 11th and 12th grade years (3rd, 2nd). Ask him if he regrets wrestling the last few years in high school. Or ask Carelton Haselrig about wrestling his sr. year and winning a state title. He later played for the Steelers. Or about Steven Neil, he wrestled in college and now he's in his 4th year at o-line for the patriots. Or Coy Wire he won a few state titles for Ceder Cliff, now he in the NFL playing saftey. ECT.....
I know that Mike is very upset he can't wrestle this year. He was hoping to come back, but his doctor said "NO". I know he is hoping to return in 2010
Hull Has no heart. Football is easy. You need something very special to go 1 on 1. Hull doesn't have it. He needs people on the playing field with him for security. His Dr. gave him the "No" he was looking for.

I take it you were joking because nothing can be as stupid as your last comment.
