CM opted out; why even hold the event? PAATHEITIC

Contrary to CM fan opinion; I've always seen a lot of top wrestlers from the Tri-county in this tourney. I guess suddenly this tournament is "below" CM standards.

Below CM standards ha. Canon Mac had a financial commitment to the Virginia Duals. A tournament that they have attended annually since 2004. VA Duals this year happens to fall on the same week as the county tournament.

Some people on here just flat out suck.

I could care less where CM is this weekend. However, I will personally pay for the postage on the invitation for Blair Academy at Powerade. Thank you again, Mr. Vulcano for allowing us to witness an historic victory by Blair Academy.

Why would CM go to tri-cada? That would be like taking a weekend off.

So next year will CMC go to the Virginia duals or be forced to attend the tri county?

From the teams scheduled to attend Tri-Cada I anticipate some great wrestling this weekend.
I think it is financially more beneficial for tri-county with CM not attending as the side door would be held open by EW costing a significant loss in admission fee profits at the front door.

Wouldn't mind CM being at Tri-cada but too many talented wrestlers at the Tri-County tournament to really even give it a second thought. Potential for some great finals.

I am so sick of all you cm haters. The VA duals were already paid for and rooms were already booked. CM could not back out or else they would lose their money. Why does everything have to be about CM. These kids wanted to wrestled at a good school, CM didn't pay any money or any of that BS that you people talk about. To be honest, that Tri-County tournament is a joke. Canon Mac would win by probably 75 or 100. Its like practice for CM. Stop hating on CM and cheer for your own team. Or keep hating, sit back relax and watch CM dominate.

People hate on CM because of comments from people like you posted. Face it, CM is an all star team made up of kids from WV, Penn Trafford (where the kid still lives), Charleroi, and Bethel Park. Half of your All star team weren't even born in the district. Don't come on here acting high and mighty like the Tri county tournament is below you. Anyone who had an all star lineup like CM would also win the tourney by 75 to 100

Apparently that team you so adore[ blair] doesn't care were they get the kids from either. Then again you love them. I think you're jealous !

Truth...do we really have to rehash the anger, the t-shirt snatching, and the sneaking in the side door at matches. He is nice kid and an exceptional talent. CM should be happy to have him. You, on the other hand aren't missed, good riddance. Everything is just fine in the Magic City and we are enjoying some great individual wrestling week in and week out. I see the free public library is back online, so we will be blessed with your wisdom for a few more months. Leave it alone already. Best of luck to all the area wrestlers. What a sad life some people lead. Tri-County should be a good time with some great wrestling.

To the Ex D1-Canon Mac Wrester /

Your present post is accurate synopsis of your ignorance.

To summarize an excellent post that was deleted by Joe Tus-Canon.

Far from winning by "probably 75 or 100 points" or "dominating", Canon-Mac lost at Tri-CADA by similar numbers over the last 3 years, just as they came up 100 points at Powerade.

2011: Waynesburg whipped CM

2010: Connellsville whipped CM by nearly 100 points...

2009: Connellsville and Waynesburg whipped CM.

You are the real joke, please, feel free to respond.

Nice reporting Joe Tus-Canon...From your blog, I know that Wierciochs live in Cecil, tried to move to Chartiers-Houston...etc, etc, etc...Interesting...

It looked like Tus-Canon's version of War and Peace this summer, as you feverishly updated the public every time the Wiercioch's went to Sam's Club.

Why not try reporting some real wrestling news instead of scooping CM. A Washington County wrestler hit one-hundred wins last night, but nothing is mentioned here....Shameful.

ex cm wrestler: if you read some of the childish and ridiculous posts on here from self-proclaimed CM fans. A lot of wrestling fans have left this blog for respectable unbiased blogs. This used to be a good blog but some of the CM fans seem to have become very arrogantave claimed this as their own. There are too many very good sources to get better information minus the attitude. interesting how the snide blogs began in late summer with along with some PATHEIC grammar usage. Some AAA teams don't appreciate the having to follow the rules while others are permitted to break them.

I bet the tax payers of your district arn't as happy to see your team go to the virginia duels. Especially when you have the same talent right at home. Macri vs Russo/Swarrow/Demaske, Shorts vs Vahaley/Toth(Vahaley beat Shorts in this same tournament), Dobbins vs Mizia, Campbell vs Gray, and Klempay vs Lusk/Garry. They would have all been good matches to watch and more importantly kept the interest in this sport alive in the area. Your team is good now but it is not going to last. The shame of it is that as good as you think you are you still havn't proven a thing except that you know how to spend taxpayers dollars. $20,000 to go to the state tourny alone. Now you add the duels whats your price tag this year for that all star team you recruited. Will see how many individual champions you have at states and to be honest I don't think your team has what it takes to win the actual team tourny even with all your recruits. The funny thing is that the only champions your going to have is the ones that you did bring over from other schools. Mortgage the future for today that's the CM Big Mac way. WTF is a BIG MAC anyway? Who you going to wrestle when all those other schools decide not to have wrestling as a sport anymore? Maybe you can transfer your school district to Virginia.

County tournaments are a showcase for local wrestling talent and a great precursor to section and WPIAL tournaments. It is shameful for any team not to attend their county tournament. To answer 2:14's question, a BIG MAC is two beef patties, blah blah blah, on a sesame seed bun.

Good luck to all local wrestlers attending their county tourneys this weekend. I know I'll be at Franklin Regional to check out the WCCA.

FYI - Tax payers don't pay a dime for Virginia Duals. School Board just Ok's it because it is out of state. Trip funded by the Booster Club. Powerade, WPIAL Finals and good crowds at the matches does wonders for a lucrative booster club and the hard work they do before, during and after the events allow the wrestlers to have this great experience. And again, this has become a tradition at CM since 2005 to go to the duals. It just happen to be the same weekend this year. CM can't control this. This event is something the kids look forward to each year. A trip out of state, watch college wrestling, wrestle at the tournament, get out of school for two days, etc. This year of all years is the year they may finally win the tournament at the national level. Whole team goes to this as a unit (JV included). It is a great time for the kids. Imagine being in high school again, which tourny would you want to go to? It os a great experience for the kids that goes beyond actually wrestling at the tournament.

I don't think anyone has a problem with CM wresting in VA. They can wrestle whereever they chose. But when a CM alumni and supposed D1 wrestler makes a fool of himself, reminding us all that fools are admitted to college based on athletic talent with no obvious academic prowess, then he called out as a fool.

I was very jealous of CM when the season started . And I know all the other schools were too. I talked to all the parents from different teams and they were P.O . at CM for being a great program with a ton of tradition . When I read these blogs I know who these people are ,Iv'e heard their rant before. I just wish my team would try to at least compete. It's to bad they only have 6 kids out . Good luck CM ! GO GET EM AT THE VA DUALS ~~~

Good first night at Tri-CADA. No major upset that I witnessed. Looks like some exciting matches on tap for tomorrow. However, there was a rumor circulating that Joe Tus-Canon, clearly shaken by absence of the blue and gold he so loves, graced the tournament with his presence. I believe I can confirm this sighting, although nearly hidden by a wet snow covered sidewalk a faint trail of tears leading out of the gymnasium, along RT 70W, to the Observer-Reporter office in Washington, Pa. Godspeed Mr. Joe...Virgina is only a few hours away.
