When this blog was created, the idea behind it was to give wrestling fans an opportunity to express their opinions and stay informed about what was happening in the sport. For most of this season, however, you all have tried my patience.
This blog is a requirement of my job, and I am expected to police it as best I can with the time I have available. You all have made that a taxing responsibility for me by acting like 5-year-olds with this bickering and all the crude comments. I can't keep up.
So here's the deal.
Either tone it down or I will restrict you all from freely posting on my blog. I will moderate every comment and decide what goes in and what gets trashed if that happens. No more same-time posting. If that's what it takes to get a more civil tone, then I will be happy to do that. It's up to you.
Now, I'm going to get some aspirins.

Good job Joe. People forget what high school is. It is 15 and 16 year old KIDS just playing a sport. Win or Loose the sun will still come up tomorrow. It's not bashing a young KIDS family or where he lives then not MAN enough to tell who you are making these comments.

Thanks Joe....I agree 100%. I'll take it one step further and say that I believe a simple registration is needed.
Haven`t been on in quite some time. Hopefully with this we can talk some wrestling and enjoy the last couple of weeks. I Know i`m looking foward to C-M vs C.Dauphin. To bad its Friday night in Semi`s

I didn't swear. I took that name because someone else started using my first one, so I picked one I thought nobody would steal. I won't pick a name based on a fart again. Is that the only reason you deleted now two, or maybe all of my comments?

Aside from a few minor skirmishes, it appears that your arbitrated detente is nearing twenty-four hours. Well done. Well done. Please require a registration so the "anonymous" gentle man posting at 7:24 can take ownership of the phrase "winning or loosing". Please delete that post. It is rife with anger and adds nothing to the conversation at hand. Again, I recommend a registration process. I commend your decision to more aggressively monitor the board. I agree...I think "Jick Jackson" adds nothing to civil wrestling conversation that Joe is trying to nurture. Obviously, just trying to provoke animosity with angry and impulsive comments. If he is a Canon-Mac fan, i'm sure he is not embraced with those comments. As a whole, Canon-Mac fans are knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. Register with a password and real name and the "Jick Jacksons" of this board will be silenced. Joe continue to closely monitor the board. Joe Tuscano a gentleman and a scholar.

I have a suggestion, and from here on out I will only discuss wrestling.
The registration thing might reduce participation, and jick jackson thinks everyone else is the problem, he's not doing anything annoying. He'd still be here.
If we register but remain anonymous, and it's a quick 3 or 4 field registration you don't have to use your whole lunch break to finish, anyone who wants to could add jick jackson as "foe", and they wouldn't have to see his comments when reading the blog. it could still be easy & anonymous, so no one would be dissuaded from commenting.

I think your idea is an excellent one. Can Joe implement a registration system Joe? We are entering what I consider the most important part of the season, the individual tournament, and I, along with the others here, do not want to wade through "Jick Jackson's" round the clock posts to discuss the upcoming matches. My time is too valuable.
Gotta admit, when you put it like that, kinda makes sense.

Agreed...the personal attacks are way down. A negative comment is ok but his personal comments were too much to bear.

Stop writing all of your articles based on CM wrestling. This year was hard because of all the fame and fortune but even in years past win they won nothing you still had to mention them in postings that were not even about them. I recall one of your earlier articles talking about double a schools and you had to mention that Cody Weircioch transfered to CM. Give the other schools their just dues and maybe just maybe you won't have all this anger and ill will on your blog. It's actually out of controll now and your parental guidance will not stop anything. Take the blog site down for awhile or force people to sign up to blog. We both know that is not going to happen because your company is making way to much money off your site. Not only in advertising but with each blog that is produced. It's always about the money Joe. So you want to talk wrestling then talk wrestling not just cm wrestling. Avoid teams all together and just talk about the individuals in our county. You want us to change then you yourself will have to change as well.
